Looking Golden: Best Dressed at the 2024 Golden Globes

Sunday’s Golden Globes festivities brought upon gorgeous red carpet looks from this year’s nominees. The Golden Globes, one of the most anticipated events in the entertainment industry, is not only a celebration of outstanding achievements in film and television but also a dazzling display of fashion. The 2024 Golden Globes did not disappoint, with celebrities showcasing their spectacular style and pushing the boundaries of glamour.

Here are our favorite looks:

Dua Lipa in Schiaparelli

Popstar Dua Lipa, also known as Mermaid Barbie, took the phrase “If looks could kill,” and ran with it. Adorned in a black, mermaid-cut, Schiaparelli dress– no doubt, a nod to her role in the iconic Gerwig film that took the box office by storm last summer– with gold accents that made the shape of a skeleton.

Dua Lipa was nominated for Best Song in a Motion Picture for “Dance the Night” in Barbie.

Rosamund Pike in Dior

Rosamund Pike channeled her Golden Globes-nominated character Lady Elspeth Catton in a black Dior couture lace gown with a black veil. She shared with Variety that she originally added the veil to cover her face after her ski incident over the holidays, but fell in love with the look altogether.

She was nominated for Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for Saltburn.

Jonathan Bailey in Givenchy

Bridgerton and Fellow Travelers star, Jonathan Bailey, wowed in a white, monochromatic Givenchy ensemble on the red carpet. While Bailey’s look was on the simple side, his confidence had everyone’s eyes on him.

He presented the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role along with Julia Garner. Fellow Travelers was also nominated for Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television.

Taylor Swift in Gucci

Dressed in an electrifying, shiny green dress, global superstar, Taylor Swift, attended the red carpet in Los Angeles. Paired with sparkling silver jewelry, Swift was positively “Bejeweled” in front of the cameras.

Swift’s concert film The Eras Tour was nominated for the new cinematic and box office achievement category.

Barry Keoghan in Louis Vuitton

Leaning into the buzz of his most recent role in Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn, Koeghan graced the Golden Globes red carpet in true Oliver Quick fashion, dressed in a custom red Louis Vuitton suit with pearl accessories. According to his stylist, Ilaria Urbinati, the theme for this year’s awards season is “Saltburn meets punk rock.”

Keoghan was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture– Drama for his performance in Saltburn.

Who are you looking forward to seeing on the carpet this season? With awards season just starting, we can’t wait to see familiar faces show off their style on the carpet.
