Voting. More Than a Trend

· Fashion

Hopefully, this article is reaching you after you have already snapped a selfie while mailing your ballot in for this 2020 presidential election. If not, there is still time for you to vote and wear cute, politically active merch too.

That's why we love organizations like When We All Vote. They are designed to help people make plans, register, and pledge to be involved in this election. With only seven days left and counting, they want to make sure to get the message across that we all must vote.

Brands, designers, and celebrities like Selena Gomez partnered with When We All Vote and Dover Street Market to create street style merch to inspire the younger generations to vote and look cool while doing it.

Here are a few of our favorite collaborations:

Selena Gomez:

If you weren’t convinced after Selena Gomez spoke about the importance of voting on Instagram Live with Timothee Chalamet *heart eyes emoji*, then maybe her shirt and sweatshirt will inspire you. Get it and vote today.

Stussy:

The street style brand from Irvine, CA, Stussy also collaborated with Dover Street to prove voting is cool. (proof below)

The Beastie Boys & Guns and Roses:

Even iconic musicians like The Beastie Boys and Guns and Roses are collaborating to inspire the young and old to have political efficacy and cast their ballots. Because that's what real music icons do.

You can find a full list of the collections created to promote casting your ballots on the Dover Street Market website. 100% of the proceeds are donated to When We All Vote. After you get a shirt, make a voting plan. Together we can make a difference with all of the brands and celebrities by our sides too.
