Vacation Must-Haves for Natural Hair | StyldLife Crown Club

Going on vacation is always exciting, but for us curly hair gals, it can be a bit of a challenge. Sun, saltwater, and humidity can wreak havoc on our precious locks. But fear not, Crown Club members, because we've got you covered with some natural hair tips for vacation!

First up, pack some hair oil. Your curls need that extra TLC when exposed to the elements. Coconut oil is a great option because it locks in moisture without leaving a greasy residue. Apply it to your strands pre-beach day and let it work its magic. Plus, if you spill a little on your skin, it's a great natural sunscreen!

Next tip, invest in a silk scarf or pillowcase. We all know hotel pillows can be scratchy and rough on our hair. Silk helps to reduce friction and prevent breakage and frizz. You can even wrap your hair up in a silk scarf at night to keep your curls intact.

Speaking of breakage, keep a hair elastic on hand. When your hair is damp from a dip in the ocean or pool, it's more susceptible to damage. Avoid pulling your hair tight into a ponytail or messy bun and opt for a loose, low style instead.

Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to have fun! We can get so caught up in trying to maintain our curls that we forget to enjoy the moment. Embrace the natural texture of your hair and let it flow free. After all, you're on vacation, and you deserve to let loose.

So there you have it, Crown Club members - some natural hair tips for vacation. Enjoy your travels to the fullest with healthy, happy curls!
