A message from our founder & CEO, Julie Floyd:
Six years ago, I founded Styldlife to make “celebrity styling experiences” accessible to
anyone from anywhere. We launched the site with confidence that our styling services would
create meaningful transformations without the boundary of travel. While we were right, we didn’t
expect to also find that our clients didn’t care about the “celebrity styling experience’ we
romanticized. Clients booked because StyldLife provides access to top services that empower
our clients.
I’ve realized, especially amidst the pandemic, that we all value accessibility and feeling
empowered. But it’s not just about access to talented stylists - it’s about so much more. From
day one, StyldLife has been about more than creating access. We believe our clients should be
empowered. Everyone should be empowered to make their own decisions about their bodies
and everyone should have access to medical procedures and care.
Roe v. Wade protected the women’s reproductive rights - a basic human right. I am
deeply saddened and frankly, disgusted by the news of the Supreme Court overturning this
precedent and thus allowing states the ability to dictate what women can and cannot do with
their bodies. This basic human right should not be something that only some women are
fortunate enough to experience. Just like we believe everyone deserves the right to experience
their own meaningful transformation, we at StyldLife believe everyone deserves the right to
make their own decisions about their body.
Right now, its crucial to support those around you and women in states where their right
to an abortion has been taken away or restricted. There are many options, from donating to a
fund, joining a rally or protest, volunteering to support people get to clinics safely, call your local
lawmakers, share your story, and most of all, educate yourself and others about their options,
resources and at-home abortion medications.
